[23/10/2007] MOSS2007 – Document Tree View from Atidan

Categories:

A few days ago Atidan released a tree view control for SharePoint that gives you an almost explorer like view of your documents and libraries. The control can be downloaded for free from the link below:

http://www.atidan.com/sharepoint_explorer.html

It is a great control. As an example I have a simple document library with a couple of folders and documents within.

When I add the web part to the page of the site it dynamically lists these in a tree view.

This is a great *free* web part that I can see many uses for. The only limitation is that it is restricted to the current site you are in and does not seem to list anything from sub sites but that is good too as it means it is very light weight and quick to run. Go get and have a play. J

This looks like the first of many to come also, so keep an eye on them!!
